| Nationwide Insurance: Direct Response TV Direct response television is known for being unglamorous, salesy and boring. We wanted to avoid the status quo from the start and create a simple message as a reason to switch to Nationwide – in a compelling way. The result: a surge of phone calls and record-breaking requests to switch to Nationwide. ART DIRECTOR: J.D. Humphreys | COPYWRITER: Stevie Maple | PRODUCER: Naomi Newman | CREATIVE DIRECTOR: Ellen Steinberg, Liz Paradise | DIRECTOR: Jeffery Plansker, Supply & Demand | EDITOR: Adam Pertofsky, Rock Paper Scissors | POST-PRODUCTION: The Mill, New York | AGENCY: McKinney, Durham |

"Custom Fit" :60 TV Spot "Discount Finder" :60 TV Spot Production Due to the size of the Nationwide cube structures when stacked, we needed a large studio. So, we ended up renting the 7th largest stage in the world – Stage 12 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Stage 12 is known for epic productions such as Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), Scarface (1983), Back to the Future (1985), Casper (1995), Jurassic Park (1993), Pirates of the Carribean 2 & 3 (2005), National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets (2007), Tropic Thunder (2008) and Land of the Lost (2009). ![]() Back to Top |
