Showing the value of flood mitigation
with the wonks at The Economist.
Floods are our nation's most costly natural disaster. Every year, flood risk increases in communities. We partnered with The Economist Intelligence Unit and FEMA to develop FloodEconomics.com. This site shows the value of mitigation in 21 flood-affected communities and how those lessons can be used to create more resilient homes and infrastructure. Work also included promotion of FloodEconomics.com through trade shows, community events, and various collateral.
Visitors to the site can view the total investment for their state.
